Coburn and Baker Factory continuedThe
puff pastry is rolled thin and folded by a machine to get sufficient
layers with butter in between. This makes the laminated pastry
necessary for pastries and small cakes.
There is a completely separate area used for making gluten free products including bread, cakes and quiches.

Cinnamon buns cut up and being laid out on flat tins ready for baking.

Fruit Tarts ready to eat.

Trays of croissants and other patisserie/viennoisserie after baking.
Here are a couple of examples of cakes which can be made to order.

A large Blackberry Lime and Pistachio Cake.

A large Cherry Bakewell Cake.
The final area of the production line is a large space to sort out the orders ready to be loaded into the vans each morning so as to ensure the right products go to the right customers.

Café and Bakery Shop.
Widening the business, a café and shop was opened at The Hyde on the 4th of June 2026 where you can taste their delicious cakes and savouries and have a hot or cold drink. This small café is already popular with local workers and families who live in Bevendean.
You can look through a large window in the café to view the productions area.
